Dr Owen Kwon
Dr Owen is a Specialist GP in North Ryde NSW.
He graduated from UNSW Medicine in 2004 with Honours, and the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2009.
He worked as a doctor in various medical teams throughout the Westmead Hospital network, and then in the Paediatric departments at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Auburn Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital, while completing a Diploma in Child Health awarded through the University of Sydney. He has subsequently gained experience in a variety of General Practices throughout Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Port Macquarie.
He very much enjoys all the different facets of general practice medicine, and has a special interest in child health, chronic disease management and preventative health.
He is diligent in maintaining a caring, attentive and thorough approach to medical care.
He enjoys teaching, and is a clinical supervisor for GP Registrars and Medical Students.
Born and raised in Sydney, he has grown up living in the Ryde area all his life. Just as the local community has contributed so much to shape him into who he is today, he is now committed to giving back and serving the local community for many years ahead.
He takes great joy in spending time with his wife and family of three fun-loving children, and his great friends.
He is currently the Vice President of the Korean Australian Medical Society (KAMS), and previously a member of the COVID-19Â Korean-Australian Medical Advisory Committee.
